  I do not come from a Church of Christ background. And I do not agree with the whole 'no instruments' thing. So I wrote this church off before I went, but surprisingly I really enjoyed the praise and worship. They had no instruments and just had an old man at the front leading it, but they made up for it with great song choices and melodies. The harmonies the men and women made together with their own lines sounded good and frankly it was fun to sing, and I'm no singer.
  
  The sermon was a topic that interests me a lot, but never really gets preached about: 'what happens when we die.' It was a guest speaker and I wasn't sure I agreed with everything he said, but he introduced some new ideas that made the sermon very interesting. It was one of those sermons where you really regret day dreaming for even a few seconds.
  
  The church seemed like they had a lot of fun given the announcements in the bulletin. They had a float trip and a block party coming up. But it wasn't all fun and games. They also had some charities and ministries in the announcements to make a well rounded church in my opinion. Also Sunday School is after the worship service instead of before. This makes a lot more sense to me and sets them apart from the other churches
  
  It's worth checking out even if you aren't Chruch of Christ.
